What are the delivery costs?
Shipping costs for deliveries to Germany and the EU are 4.90.-. Shipping is free for orders over 60.-.
In the event of a For exchanges or returns, you are responsible for the return shipping costs to us.
For all other countries, shipping costs vary depending on the destination country and any applicable customs fees. The exact costs will be displayed at checkout.
Are there any customs duties?
For deliveries to Switzerland and within the EU, additional charges apply. no customs fees You only pay the product price and shipping costs.
For deliveries to countries outside the EU (e.g. UK, Norway) will All shipping costs and any customs fees are displayed and calculated transparently directly during the ordering process..
How long will it take for my item to be delivered?
You can find the exact delivery times for your order further down, directly with the respective item. Please adjust your size and, if necessary, the heel height beforehand.
For Swiss customers: Most of our packages are shipped from our German warehouse. Once a package crosses the Swiss border, its tracking information will be available. This can take 1-2 days after shipment. Occasionally, customs may require an extra 1-2 days due to high package volume (e.g., holidays), which could delay delivery.
Danger: If you have ordered multiple items, it is quite possible that you will receive multiple packages.
Where is my package?
Have you not received your package even though the stated delivery period has already expired? Simply send us a short email to contact@dancingqueens.chWe will contact you immediately and let you know when you can expect to receive your shoes.
One item in my order is available – why hasn't it been shipped yet?
If your order contains multiple items with different delivery dates, we will ship them together whenever possible for environmental reasons. This saves on packaging material and avoids additional transport routes – our contribution to a more sustainable world.
This applies provided the delivery dates of the items are no more than 14 days apart. If you would like a partial delivery, please simply reply to your order confirmation or contact our Customer Care.
I didn't receive my entire order. What now?
It's possible that we don't have all products in stock or that they are distributed across different warehouses. Therefore, orders containing multiple products may sometimes arrive in separate deliveries.
If you ordered several pairs of shoes to compare them, you can keep the ones you've already received until the rest arrive. As long as the shoes are unused, you can return them even after the 30-day return period has expired.
Can I have my delivery sent to a DHL Packstation?
Yes – in most cases delivery to a DHL Packstation is possible.
Exception: Orders within Germany.
Important for orders from Germany:
We ship within Germany exclusively with DPD – and DPD does not deliver to DHL Packstations. Therefore, delivery to a DHL Packstation from Germany is unfortunately not possible. Please provide a regular delivery address (e.g., your home or work address) when placing your order.
Orders from Switzerland:
We ship to Switzerland via Swiss Post. DHL Packstations do not exist in Switzerland, as DHL does not operate its own nationwide Packstation network there.
Therefore, please use a regular delivery address here as well.
Orders from other countries (e.g. Austria, France, Spain etc.):
For these countries, we use DHL as our shipping provider. Delivery to DHL Packstations is possible, provided they are available in the respective country.
Correct size & heel
I'm unsure which size to order. What should I do?
Some product pages include direct size recommendations. If no specific recommendation is given, you can assume your usual size will fit, or you can check the size chart (always found directly on the product page).
For the following suppliers, we recommend choosing one size larger, as the shoes tend to run small:
- Fire
- Portdance (recognizable by "PD" at the beginning of the name)
- Rumpf
For the SMOVE dance sneaker, however, we recommend choosing half a size smaller.
With all other suppliers, you can choose your normal shoe size.

I have extremely narrow or wide feet, which shoes do you recommend?
Lace-up shoes are particularly suitable for wide or narrow feet, as you can tie them individually. One of our classics is... this model. In general, the Portdance brand tends to have a rather narrow cut.
We would be happy to advise you personally in our showroom in Pfäffikon ZH or send us an email with your request, shoe size, foot structure and we will send you suitable models.
Can I my heel choose?
Yes, with most shoes you can choose your heel type and height, and we'll configure your shoes for you. However, please note the delivery time, as some shoes with special requests may have a longer delivery period.

I would like a different model – can I have it delivered to the shop?
Yes! If the shoe is available, you can reserve it as follows.
- Add the shoe to your shopping cart as usual.
- Choose at checkout under Shipping method the option "Collection".
- Select your preferred pickup location. Please note the opening hours of each location. location.
- You must pick up the shoe within 1 week.
Can I return shoes to the stores?
Currently, returns are accepted at the Opéra branches in Baden, Basel and Lucerne. not possible.

We are a large online shop and deliver your dance shoes or clothing conveniently to your home.

Returns & Exchanges
Which items can I return?
You can return all unused shoes and leggings within 30 days after receipt return them as long as they no defects exhibit and are unused.
Please note that the following products No right of return consists:
- Outlet dance shoes (reduced items from the outlet collection)
- stockings
- Sports bras and tight-fitting sports tops; these are considered hygiene items due to direct body contact and cannot be returned.
Should any of these items be returned, we reserve the right to... A processing fee of 20% applies. to be invoiced.
How do I register a return?
1. Click on the Profile icon Top right of the website. On your phone, you'll find the button. "Registration" at the bottom of the menu.
2. Enter the email address you used to place the order.
3. You will receive a 6-digit login code via email, which you can use to log into your customer account.
4. Select the order you wish to return.
5. Click on the "Request return" button.
6. Select the return reason from the drop-down menu.
7. IMPORTANT: If you would like to exchange the item (e.g., for a different size), you can specify this directly under "Notes". We will process the exchange automatically.
8. Confirm the request with "Request return".
9. You will immediately receive an email with further instructions.

What is important when making a return?
The shoes must be unworn. If there is a defect and this is the reason for the return, this must be reported to us in advance by email, including a photo. Please write to contact@dancing-queens.com
Please keep your Tracking number Please wait until your return has arrived and been processed. We accept no liability for lost returns., especially if we cannot be provided with a tracking number.
We strongly recommend returning items with a trackable shipping service to carry out.
Do I have to pay the return postage?
Yes, return shipping costs must always be borne by the customer.
Can I send my return using any shipping provider?
Yes, that's no problem. You can freely choose the shipping provider – the postal service, DHL, DPD, Hermes, UPS, or another provider. The only important thing is that the package has sufficient postage and is sent to our return address.
What happens to my discount code if I return something?
- Discount conditions: Discounts granted free of charge as part of a promotional campaign will not be refunded or replaced upon return. After a return, we automatically check whether the conditions for the discount are still met. If the return means the condition (e.g., minimum quantity or minimum order value) is no longer fulfilled, the discount will be completely forfeited.
- Order discounts: Discount codes always apply to the entire order. If you return only one product from a larger order, the discount will be recalculated proportionally and your refund adjusted accordingly.
- 2-for-1 deals: The discount only applies if you keep both items. If you return one, the discount is completely forfeited and the other item will be charged at the regular price.
Your refund will always be based on the adjusted order value after the discount has been applied.

I would like to place a group order for a show group, my dance students, or something similar. How do I proceed?
Please contact bettina.gimenez@dancingqueens.ch for special conditions and to specify the products you require. We can order significantly more sizes and products than what is displayed online.
I own a dance school and would like to collaborate with you. What do I need to do?

Further questions
I'm a beginner and buying dance shoes for the first time. What do I need to pay attention to?
As a beginner, we recommend a model with a higher profile. deeper and wider heel (flare). We also offer you a wide selection of flat shoes.
Why are dance shoes rather expensive?
We deliver everything to you free of shipping costs and customs duties. We also pay the VAT incurred during the import of the shoes. So you know from the start that you only pay the actual price of the shoes and won't be surprised by any unexpected bills later. The dance shoes are mostly handmade in the EU, which is why the production costs are also slightly higher.
Do you also have vegan dance shoes?
Yes, we have a few models, as most dance shoes are made with a leather sole. You can find the exceptions here. here.

We have various suppliers from Germany, Italy, Portugal, the USA and Türkiye.
