What are the delivery costs?
The shipping costs for deliveries to Switzerland are CHF 7.90.
For deliveries to Germany and the EU there is a charge of EUR 4.90.
From an order value of CHF/EUR 150, shipping is free of charge.
In the event of an exchange, we will also take care of shipping to you - you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
For all other countries, the shipping costs vary depending on the destination country and customs duties. The exact costs are displayed in the checkout.
Are there customs duties?
For deliveries to Switzerland and within the EU no customs duties to. You only pay the product price and the shipping costs.
For deliveries to countries outside the EU (e.g. UK, Norway) are all shipping costs and any customs duties are displayed and billed transparently during the ordering process.
How long will it take for my item to be delivered?
You can find the exact delivery times for your order directly below the respective item. Please adjust your size and, if necessary, the heel height beforehand.
For Swiss customers: The majority of our parcels are sent from our German warehouse. As soon as the parcel has crossed the Swiss border, the parcel can be seen in the tracking link. This can take 1-2 days after dispatch. In rare cases, customs may take 1-2 days longer due to high parcel volumes (e.g. public holidays), so delivery may be delayed accordingly.
Attention: If you have ordered several items, it is quite possible that several parcels will reach you.
Where is my parcel?
Have you not received your package even though the specified delivery period has already expired? Just send us a short e-mail to contact@dancingqueens.ch. We will get back to you as soon as possible and let you know when you can expect to receive your shoes.
I have not received the whole order. What now?
It may happen that we do not have all products in stock or that they are distributed across different warehouses. It can therefore happen that orders with several products sometimes reach you in separate deliveries.
If you have ordered several shoes in order to compare them, you can keep the shoes you have already received until the remaining products arrive. As long as the shoes are unused, you can return them even after the 30-day return period has expired.
Can I have my order delivered to a DHL Packstation?
Yes - in most cases, delivery to a DHL Packstation is possible.
Exception: Orders within Germany.
Important for orders from Germany:
We only ship within Germany with DPD - and DPD does not deliver to DHL Packstations. Therefore, delivery to a DHL Packstation from Germany is unfortunately not possible. Please enter a regular delivery address with your order (e.g. home or work address).
Orders from Switzerland:
We ship to Switzerland with Swiss Post. There are no DHL Packstations in Switzerland, as DHL does not operate its own nationwide Packstation network there.
Please use a regular delivery address here as well.
Orders from other countries (e.g. Austria, France, Spain, etc.):
We use DHL as the shipping service provider for these countries. Delivery to DHL Packstations is possible here, provided they are available in the respective country.
Right size & heel
I'm not sure which size I should order. What should I do?
On some product pages you will find direct size recommendations. If no specific recommendation is given, you can assume that your usual size will fit, or you can check the size chart (you can always find this directly next to the product)
For the following suppliers, we recommend choosing one size larger, as the shoes are smaller:
- Fuego
- Portdance (recognizable by the "PD" at the front of the name)
- Rumpf
For the SMOVE dance sneaker, however, we recommend choosing half a size smaller.
With all other suppliers you can choose your normal shoe size.

I have extremely narrow or wide feet, which shoes do you recommend?
Lace-up shoes are particularly suitable for wide or narrow feet, as you can tie them individually. One of our classics is this model. In general, the Portdance brand has a rather narrow cut.
We would also be happy to advise you in person at our showroom in Pfäffikon ZH or send us an e-mail with your request, shoe size and foot structure and we will send you suitable models.
Can I use my heel choose?
Yes, for most shoes you can choose your heel type and height and we will configure your shoes for you. However, please note the delivery time, as various shoes with special requests have a longer delivery time.

You can try on and buy our shoes in the following stores:
- In our main store in Pfäffikon ZH with the largest selection
- In the Opéra branches (a selection of selected models) in Baden, Basel and Lucerne

- In various dance schools. You can find dance schools that offer our shoes here

I would like a different model - can I have it delivered to the store?
Yes, if the shoe is available, you can reserve it as follows.
- Add the shoe to your shopping cart as usual.
- Select at checkout under Shipping method the option "Collection".
- Select the desired location for collection. Please note the opening hours of the respective Location.
- You must collect the shoe within 1 week
Can I return shoes to the stores?
Returns are currently possible at the Opéra branches in Baden, Basel and Lucerne. not possible.

You bear the return costs yourself.
You can bring your returns to the main store in Pfäffikon ZH 24/7 and deposit them in the letterbox.
The selection in the Opéra stores is too small for me - where can I find more?
We are a large online store and deliver your dance shoes or clothing conveniently to your home.
In our Main store in Pfäffikon ZH in Switzerland you will find one of the largest selections of dance shoes. You can try on and buy many models on the spot.

An appointment is not absolutely necessary - but it is helpful so that we can give you the best possible advice and reserve time for you.

Returns & exchanges
Which items can I return?
You can return all unused shoes and leggings within 30 days after receipt return them as long as they No defects and are unused.
Please note that for the following products no right of return exists:
- Outlet dance shoes (reduced items from the outlet collection)
- Stockings
- Tops and sports bras
- All articles from the "Accessories" section
If one of these items is nevertheless returned, we reserve the right to charge a Processing fee of 20% to be offset.
How do I register a return?
1. click on the Profile icon at the top right of the website. On your cell phone you will find the button "Registration" at the bottom of the menu.
2. enter the e-mail address you used to place the order.
3. you will receive a 6-digit login code by e-mail, which you can use to log into your customer account.
4. select the order you wish to return.
5. click on the "Request return" button.
6. select the reason for return from the drop-down menu.
7. IMPORTANT: If you would like to exchange the item (e.g. for a different size), you can indicate this directly under "Notes". We will process the exchange automatically.
8. confirm the request with "Request return".
9. you will immediately receive an e-mail with further instructions.

What is important when returning goods?
The shoes must not have been worn. If there is a defect and this is the reason for the return, this must be reported to us in advance by email including a photo. Please write to contact@dancing-queens.com
Please keep your Consignment number (tracking number) until we have received and processed your return. We accept no liability for lost returnsespecially if we cannot be provided with a tracking number.
We expressly recommend that returns be accompanied by a traceable shipping service to be carried out.
Do I have to pay the postage for the return shipment?
Yes, you always have to pay the return costs yourself
Can I send my return with any shipping service provider?
Yes, that's no problem. You are free to choose the shipping service provider - Post, DHL, DPD, Hermes, UPS or another provider. The only important thing is that the parcel has sufficient postage and is sent to our return address.
What happens to my discount code if I send something back?
- Discount conditions: Discounts that were granted free of charge as part of a promotional campaign will not be paid out or replaced in the event of a return. After a return, we automatically check whether the conditions for the discount are still met. If the condition (e.g. minimum quantity or minimum order value) is no longer met as a result of the return, the discount will no longer apply in full.
- Order discounts: Discount codes always apply to the entire order. If you only return one product from a larger order, the discount will be recalculated pro rata and your refund will be adjusted accordingly.
- 2-for-1 promotions: The discount only applies if you keep both items. If you send one item back, the benefit will no longer apply and the other item will be charged at the regular price.
Your refund is always based on the adjusted order value after the discount has been adjusted.

Can I pay my CHF invoice in EUR?
Yes, you can transfer the amount directly in EUR. (Course acc.www.xe.com) Write to us by e-mail atcontact@dancingqueens.chand we will be happy to give you our bank details.
Can you send me my invoice again?
Yes, you can simply request them again from our partner "Powerpay" by sending an e-mail to:info@powerpay.ch
I have already paid the invoice, but am now sending my shoe back. How can I get my money back?

Cooperations & collective orders
I would like to make a collective order for a show group, my dance students or something similar. How should I proceed?
Please contact bettina.gimenez@dancingqueens.ch for special conditions with the desired products. We can order significantly more sizes and products than what is shown online.
I have a dance school and would like to cooperate with you. What do I have to do?
Contact bettina.gimenez@dancingqueens.ch. She will be happy to introduce you to our partner program for dance schools.
In a nutshell: You get an exclusive teacher discount, as do your students, of course.
Further questions
I am a beginner and am buying dance shoes for the first time. What should I look out for?
As a beginner, we recommend a model with more deeper and wider heel (flare). We also offer you a large selection of flat shoes.
Why are dance shoes rather expensive?
We deliver everything to you free of shipping costs and duty-free. We also pay the VAT that arises from importing the shoes for you. So you know at the outset that you are only paying the actual price of the shoes and will not be surprised by invoices afterwards. Most of the dance shoes are made by hand in the EU, which is why the manufacturing costs are also slightly higher.
Do you also have vegan dance shoes?
Yes, we have a few models, as most dance shoes are made with a leather sole. You can find the exceptions here.
Where do your dance shoes come from?
We have various suppliers from Germany, Italy, Portugal, the USA and Turkey.
